Over 100,000 ticket-holders turned up this year to ring in the New Year with a stunning fireworks show over the Thames. The annual fireworks display, considered one of the best in the world, always includes a playlist that’s almost as firey as the fireworks and this year hasn’t been any different.
What songs were on the London New Year fireworks playlist? From straight up pop bangers to medleys and mixes, the music kept the crowds pumped at the fireworks display. From the hair-raising vocals of the late, great Whitney Houston to er, David Baddiel and Frank Skinner, the playlist certainly had it all.
Of course, man of the year Stormzy featured – a great way to ring out 2019, and with him set to snag the first number one of 2020, a great way to ring in the New Year.
